 Thermowood: Wood changes its molecular structure through a kind of “baking” at high temperatures so that the wood sugar caramelizes and closes the pores.
 Due to the heat, the wood takes on a noble, dark color and is henceforth called thermowood.
 The wood can then absorb little or no moisture and becomes practically insensitive.
 It is now ideal for all products from bathrooms to saunas, where wood is constantly exposed to high levels of moisture.
